Phyllis Cathleen Mayers was born on August 3, 1942 in Bridgetown, Barbados to James and Virginia Payne. As a retired Registered Nurse of Ottawa, she devoted over 45 years in her community. Phyllis was a loving mother, daughter, sister, friend and grandmother. Since 1960 Ms. Mayers was actively involved with the church serving as a choir member, Eucharistic Minister, and organizer.
