Carl Frederick Lacey

LACEY, Carl November 25, 1947 – November 15, 2015 Age 67, was born in Brantford, Ontario, but journeyed west in his early 20’s to make Victoria, BC his new home. He quickly discovered his passion for fly fishing in the countless mountain lakes of the Rockies. His career in funding start-up companies gave him the opportunity to travel the globe where he made many new friends. Carl is predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Ethel, who also made Victoria, BC, their new home in the mid 70’s. His friends in Ontario, British Columbia, and globally will remember Carl with a warm smile for the many memorable times spent together. A special thank you to, Barry and Carol Kelley, Carole Kearns, Jack Taylor, and MJ Pepito, all of Ontario, and Bjorn and Linda Simonsen, Alf and Audrey Adrian, Jim Wong, Rose and Barry Gatten, Tom Krumpic, Mike Wrohan, Bonnie Sager, Gord and Bonnie Howard, and Vance Wally, all of Victoria, BC for their support in helping Carl battle cancer. Carl has been cremated with a memorial marker being placed in the All Saints Anglican Cemetery, Mount Pleasant, Ontario. Life has truly been a journey that has taken him homeward bound.
