Born Dec 15 1958 in Victoria BC passed away peacefully at the Victoria Jubilee Hospital April 10 2023 at the age of 64.
In her earlier years Carol worked at Upjohn Healthcare Services providing in home care and support for seniors. Later years she did volunteer work at James Bay Community Project in the Thrift Store.
Carol loved animals, especially her cats. She had many interests and talents: She played guitar and a variety of other instruments; she enjoyed reading and watching movies. She was talented at photography, knitting, sewing and sketching.
Survived by sisters: Donna, Kathryn and Cheree; Nieces and Nephews: Chantale, Jesse, Dulcinea, Tony, Tim, Richard, Francis; Ivan, Anita, Lilia, Abigail, Samuel and Huxley; and many grand nieces and nephews.
Thank you to her family for always being caring and supportive and giving guidance.
Thank you to the Palliative Outreach Resource Team nurses that came to Carol’s home to care for her and to the Doctors, Nurses and Social Workers at the Royal Jubilee Hospital for all the care and support.
Also, thank you to the staff at the Victoria SPCA for caring for and adopting out Carol’s cats Collette and Margie.
A private family service was held at Royal Oak Cemetery on Sept 18 2023
