Chris passed away peacefully in Victoria BC on July 9 2017 with his three girls at his side after a short battle with lung cancer at the young age of 72.
Born in Vancouver, BC on December 22, 1944, he was raised in Surrey, BC along with two brothers and two sisters. He was an extremely loyal and dedicated husband, father, friend and co-worker who was always doing for others. Chris spent 43 ½ years on the Surrey Fire Department.
He is survived by his loving wife, Juanita; two daughters, Diane (Perry) and Debbie (Rob); six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at Port Kells Community Hall, 18912 88th Avenue, Surrey BC on Saturday, August 19, 2017 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.
