David John Boleszczuk

Passed away on July 27, 2018. He succumbed to brain cancer.

David was born in Woodstock, Ont. Nov 5^th 1958 to parents Hilde and Joseph Boleszczuk (predeceased). He is survived by his wife, Carol Boleszczuk, siblings Hans Reinhard Lill (Doris) of Lubben Germany, Gary Boleszczuk (Karen) of Halifax, NS, Peter Boliszczuk (Maureen) of Mission BC , Andrew Boleszczuk of Regina, Sask. and Margaret Nadalin (Bill) of Sweeburg, Ont. David is also survived by many caring nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and friends.

David’s working life was one of variety and saw him as a cook, hotel manager, prime mover in the tourism/convention industry, retail manager and lastly as Service Consultant at  Barnes Harley Davidson in Victoria. David was a motorcycle enthusiast, and particularly loved Harley Davidsons. He considered himself most fortunate to combine his hobby with his career. David spoke very highly of the people he worked with and for at the dealership.

During David’s last weeks in his battle with cancer he received excellent care and treatment from a team of dedicated, caring professionals at the Victoria General Hospital Those wishing to honour Dave can make a donation to them by visiting http://www.victoriahf.ca or by calling 250-519-1750.

A celebration of David’s life will take place at Barne’s Harley Davidson, 2940 Ed Nixon Terrace in Victoria (Langford) Thurs Aug 2^nd, 5:30 PM. Dave will later be taken on a last bike ride to Penticton BC.
