Peacefully passed away at Selkirk Place on May 31, 2014 at the age of 67 years. Born in Victoria on September 29, 1946 he was predeceased by his parents, Capt. Vern and Freda Vosper; as well as infant son, David.
Douglas is lovingly remembered by his wife of 38 years, Frances Ann; son, Vern (Noni); 2 daughters, Valerie Vosper (Jimmy, Jack and Josheph) and Teresa Hogan (Richard); brothers, Capt. Fred Vosper (Pat) and Jim Vosper (Lily); and sister Carol Mcintyre (Joel); as well as his nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Brian Kraeker, his caregiver for many years and the staff at Selkirk Place for their care and support.
A celebration of Doug’s life will be held at the Goldstream Boat House Marina, 3540 TransCanada Hwy. on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Brain Injury Program.
