Lorne was born on January 17, 1955 in Regina, Saskatchewan. He passed away June 18, 2018 at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, B.C.
Lorne is survived by his son Ben Wingert (Victoria, B.C.), his mother Audrey Wingert (Regina, Sk), sisters; Susan Babey (Bill) and Kathryn Murrison (Calvin) and their families, all from Regina.
In his younger years, Lorne was very active in badminton, music, guitar, the outdoors and travel. Lorne loved sports and was a dedicated fan of the Toronto Bluejays and Saskatchewan Roughriders. He had a great sense of humour while spending time with family and friends.
Lorne was faced with many health challenges which held him back in his later years. He left us with great memories and will be dearly missed.
An inurnment will take place at the Riverside Cemetery in Regina, Sask. at a later date.
