McGACHIE, Richard “Dick” Osborne
February 29, 1932 – March 20, 2014
Richard (Dick) McGachie passed away on March 20, 2014 in Victoria, B.C. at the age of 82. Born and raised in Calgary, Richard was pre-deceased by his parents, Gordon and Phyllis McGachie, and his beloved grand-parents Florence and Frederick Ernest (F.E.) Osborne, all of Calgary.
He is survived by his sister, Deanne Cassie (Gord), daughters Wendy Shaw-Mason (Steve) and Joanne McGachie (Victor), their mother, Eleanor McGachie, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Richard was predeceased by his eldest daughter Susan Linton (Stewart).
At the family’s request, no service will be held. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to Our Place of Victoria, www.ourplacesociety.com
