Shawn passed away suddenly on October 1, 2018 at the age of 41 years.
Born in Victoria, B.C. on June 14, 1977. Survived by his loving wife Amanda Campbell, his children: Hayley, Stephen, Sophia, Meadow, Richard, William and Ryan and Grandson Jaxon. His parents Douglas (Bonnie) and Elaine Campbell and his animals Ebah, Rain, Addy, Kluster and Charlie.
Shawn “Kid Rock” was the life of the party. He was full of plans and big ideas. Things were always more exciting when he was around. One of Shawn’s best qualities was his ability to love and raise all of these bonus kids and treat all of his children the same. He always said his life changed when his beautiful daughter Hayley Shawna Starr was born. He loved being a parent. He was one of the most hardworking men around and he helped and supported many people over the years. He would give you the shirt off his back. Shawn and his wife, Amanda were together for eight years and shared a very special kind of love. They supported each other through many ups and downs. Words cannot explain how greatly Shawn will be missed by his family and the family he chose, his countless friends. Celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

…I pray your ride with the angels to Heaven~ was swift and may you now RIP! When you were young, in your primary years; were the sweetest of little boys, and always kept me busy!…. (A Lovely memory was when I talked of riding my horse, and your giggle exploded, and you called …’your’ horse, “Pharaoh!” (big black Great dane)…he galloped into the living room, where proceeded to jump on his back and ride down to his bedroom, in fits of giggles, the dog slobbering, and both had very happy faces. Innocence, at it’s finest!) …You will always hold a place in my heart, like a little brother. Years later~ met up with again, to find you had grown into a wonderful, family man!… Such a loss!~ so now we are all left with memories, that remain in our hearts, Forever! Prayerfully thinking of those you have left behind.
