It is with sadness that we announce the death of Valerie Ann Cochran on July 28th at the Victoria Hospice. Valerie was born in Calgary Alberta on May 6th 1946 and passed away July 28th 2014. Born in Toronto, Lou Allin grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, where her Canadian parents had pursued employment. She received a PhD in English Renaissance Literature from Ohio State.
