September 17, 1932 - December 19, 2022 It is with deep sadness, that we announce the passing of a beloved husband to Anne for 63 years, father to Alec and Callum and grandfather to Calianne and Gina. Capt. GEORGE ELMS SEARS Died in Victoria, BC on May 6, 2015. George was born at home on October 26, 1931 near Sackville, NB. He moved to Moose Jaw, SK in 1947 with his parents and siblings, and worked on the railroad before joining the Canadian Armed Forces. He joined the Navy on March 27, 1951 and served in the Korean War.
