Trudy passed peacefully in her home at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital in Victoria.
Predeceased by her husband, John; and brothers, Otto, Georg and Horst. She lived as if she had won the lottery in life, blessedly content and joyful. Her greatest pride and joy was her family, children Karl, Joanne ( Mike) and Thomas (Monica); Grandchildren, Genevieve (Blake) Natalie (Christopher) and Joel (Sandy), Eva Marie (Geoffrey) Paul (Naomi) and Francis (Isabelle); Great grandchildren were the jewels in her life and she treasured each one as they arrived, Benjamin, Graham, Felix, Eleanor and Madeleine.
‘Oma’ as she was known to all, was so very loved and will be remembered for her love of everyone she met, her delight and joy in the little things of life, her sweetness and life of simplicity.
Funeral Mass to be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Victoria. Wednesday March 13th at 9 am.
