Bill Taylor has passed away. We are grateful and honoured to have had him in our lives.
Bill had a zest for life that never diminished. He traveled many miles, planted many gardens and wore many hats over his 96 years of a life well lived.
Bill is greatly missed by his partner, Joyce; son, Brien and wife Lorie; daughter, Denise; son, Lee and partner Valerie; and his grandchildren, Scott, Patricia and Colin.
A celebration of life will be held at Bill’s home in Sidney on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at 2:00 pm.

Offer Condolence for the family of William (Bill) James Taylor Lt.Commander, RCN (R)
Print Obituary & Condolences
My sincere condolences to the family.
1 Sunset and evening star,
2 And one clear call for me!
3And may there be no moaning of the bar,
4 When I put out to sea,
5 But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
6 Too full for sound and foam,
7When that which drew from out the boundless deep
8 Turns again home.
9 Twilight and evening bell,
10 And after that the dark!
11And may there be no sadness of farewell,
12 When I embark;
13 For tho’ from out our bourne of Time and Place
14 The flood may bear me far,
15I hope to see my Pilot face to face
16 When I have crossed the bar.
Poem By Tennyson – Crossing the Bar
